             NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Meeting of Wainfleet St Mary Parish Council will take place on

             Monday 12th September 2022 at 18.30 in the Community Hall, St Michaels Lane, Wainfleet St Mary, PE24 4HB.

            ALL COUNCILLORS ARE HEREBY SUMMONED TO ATTEND

            There will be a 10-minute public forum when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council.

            Members of the public are welcome to stay for the remainder of the meeting except for closed sessions, but they may not speak on any matter after the public session is closed.                        Maureen Clarke – Parish Clerk Monday 5th September 2022

Members must declare any personal interest in any item on the agenda and state whether they are also     prejudicedIn the case of personal interest, the member may speak and vote on the matter.  In the case of prejudicial   interests, the member must withdraw while the matter is discussed.

4. Co-option of New Councillor to WSM Parish Council 

To welcome and co-opt Dr C Shrubsole onto the Parish Council

5. Minutes of the Council Meeting on 11th July 2022

To confirm the minutes as a true record of the council meeting held Monday 12th July 2022

6 .Police Report

To receive a report from the Police representative.

7. County and District Councillor Report -  LCC and ELDC Cllr. Wendy Bowkett.

8. .Clerks report.

To update the members on issues from the previous meeting with the Clerk’s Report

9.New LGA Code of Conduct 

Adoption of New Code of Conduct and sign up to the Civility and Respect Pledge.

10.Fibre Broadband Roll out. 

Follow up from March meeting  - agreed proposal to communicate and garner support for early installation

11.Community resilience group – 3 Council Meet 24th August

Update on meeting and testing of plans – 10 minute allocation in time due to length of Agenda.

 16. Community Hall Mural 

Quotation received from Mr Pope regarding the mural in the Community Hall on the arched wall – decision to approve or not.

 17. Christmas 2022

Ideas for Christmas 2022 for further discussion and implementation in the October meeting. Time limit of 10    minutes to keep the meeting to time.

 18. Review Policies

 Standing Orders and Health and Safety Policies – review and agree any updates/changes

To update the Members on financial matters – inclusive of Lunch Club and Car Boot receipts

Option to opt out of External audit appointment

Presentation of cheques for approval and signature.

Business debit cards issued - Proposal to limit purchases on cards to £100.00 unless preauthorised

Presentation of Budget report – current and year to date

Grant funding - £2000 for purchase of bench, bin and Planter, withdrawal of £5000 for small events - Summer Fete

Location of planter, bench and bin to be decided to enable delivery direct to site)

Request from WASTC for a donation towards the Christmas lighting
