NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Meeting of Wainfleet St Mary Parish Council will take place on

Monday 26th September 2022 at 18.30 in the Community Hall, St Michaels Lane, Wainfleet St Mary, PE24 4HB.

ALL COUNCILLORS ARE HEREBY SUMMONED TO ATTEND

There will be a 10-minute public forum when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council

Members of the public are welcome to stay for the remainder of the meeting except for closed sessions, but they may not speak on any matter after the public session is closed.

        5. Police Report

        To receive a report from the Police representative.

        6. County and District Councillor Report

        LCC and ELDC Cllr. Wendy Bowkett.

        7.Clerks report

        To update the members on issues from the previous meeting with the Clerk’s Report

        8.New LGA Code of Conduct

   Adoption of New Code of Conduct and sign up to the Civility and Respect Pledge.

  9.Fibre Broadband Roll out

  Follow up from March meeting  - agreed proposal to communicate and garner support for early installation

 10.Community resilience group – 3 Council Meet 24th August and 20th September.

 Update on meeting and testing of plans – 10 minute allocation in time due to length of Agenda.

 11. Working Group Reports

 To discuss and agree actions and associated expenditure for Working Groups

b.Grass Cutting, Trees and Hedges – update from Cllr WB on Queens’ Estate

Report from the Hall Committee on the Jubilee Tea and forthcoming lunch club dates

Adoption of the Summer Fete Committee as a Working Group of the Hall Committee

Adoption of Car Boot as a Working Group of the Community Hall Committee.

 13. Summer Fete Committe

  Report from the Summer Fete Working group on plans and arrangements to date.

 The latest meeting of the Summer Fete Committee is scheduled for 5.30 also on the 26th thus all Councillors in attendance will have been informed of  progress to date and future actions.

 14.  Car Boot Report on Sales and Attendance 

   Report on the car boot finances and attendance

 15. Community Hall Mural 

   Quotation received from Mr Pope regarding the mural in the Community Hall on the arched wall – decision   to proceed or not.

 16. Christmas 2022 

  Ideas for Christmas 2022 for further discussion and implementation in the October meeting. Time limit of 10 minutes to keep the meeting to time.

 17. Review Policies

  Standing Orders and Health and Safety Policies – review and agree any updates/changed.

  Held over from July meeting.

18. Finance and Bank Account

Grant funding - £2000 for purchase of bench, bin and Planter.

(Location of planter, bench and bin to be decided to enable delivery direct to site)

Planter has been delivered and is currently in the container.

Request from WASTC for a donation towards the Christmas lighting - Agreed in principle – amount to be discussed and agreed.

Re-Approve the AGAR at request of PKF Littlejohn

19. Councillor emails addressesses.

Update on new email addresses for date and FOI protection.

20. Correspondence.

 GR Dowsing,.- Anglian Water – circulated to all Councillors prior to the meeting -  Report from Chair on webinar presentation

21.  Items for inclusion on the October Agenda.
