NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Meeting of Wainfleet St Mary Parish Council will take place on

Monday 14th March 2022 at 19.00

in the Community Hall, St Michaels Lane, Wainfleet St Mary, PE24 4HB.

ALL COUNCILLORS ARE HEREBY SUMMONED TO ATTEND

There will be a 10 minute public forum when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council

Members of the public are welcome to stay for the remainder of the meeting with the exception of closed sessions, but they may not speak on any matter after the public session is closed.

1.Apologies for absence - To receive and approve apologies for absence.

2. Declarations of Interest

 Members must declare any personal interest in any item on the agenda and state whether they are also prejudiced.  In the case of personal   interest, the member may speak and vote on the matter.  In the case of prejudicial interests, the member must withdraw while the matter is   discussed.

3.To receive the resignation of Cllr Audrey Murgatroyd as Vice Chair and Councillor.

4. Election of Vice Chairman – to elect a new Vice Chair following the resignation of Cllr A Murgatroyd.

5. Minutes of the Council Meeting on 14th February 2022

         To confirm the minutes as a true record of the council meeting held Monday 14th February 2022

6. Police Report -  To receive a report from the Police representative.

7.County and District Councillor Report - LCC and ELDC Cllr. Wendy Bowkett.

8.Councillor Vacancies – to receive the applications from Mrs C Bradford and Mrs A Blackburn

9. Matters Arising from previous Meeting and Clerks report - To update the members on issues from the previous meeting with the Clerk’s Report

10. Working Group Reports

            To discuss and agree actions and associated expenditure for Working Groups

a.    Allotments – a query has been raised over what constitutes a “partnership” for contractual understanding

b.    Grass Cutting, Trees and Hedges – up date from Cllr W Bowkett on progress made with LCC on Vicarage Lane WSM

c.     Play Area – update on works to date

       To agree the date/time and promotion of information to the residents of WSM

To update the Members on financial matters

To receive and approve items of payments and receipts

To discuss possibility of software programme for accounting procedures – info emailed round 28th February.

13.  Community Hall – Food Safety Training - Training minimum is for one person to hold the level 1 and 2 certificates and act in Supervisory capacity is required - £12.00 is the average cost.

 Parish Sign – presentation of ideas and costing

 Community Orchard –.revised quotation to include rails and no gate/protectors to base of rails and agree a date of installation

 Community Hall – Mural in the hall

 Low Road Bus Shelter Improvements

15. Queens Platinum Jubilee – Extended bank holiday weekend Thurs 2nd June to Sunday 5th June 2022 – The Big Jubilee Lunch

Report from the joint meeting with All Saints, Thorpe and Croft – Cllrs M Rust and I Hyde to update from meeting February 28th

A pet show or something specifically for the children was raised for discussion at this meeting.

Purchase of a commemorative bench for the Community.

   16. Councillor emails addresses.

    Up date on new email addresses for date and FOI protection

   17. Clerk Support Role –

    Nomination of 2 councillors to undertake Clerk Support role

   18. Two S137 grant applications have been received for consideration.

   19. Correspondence – Community Orchard Map

         Emailed round Tues 1st March for consideration/agreement

   20. Items for inclusion on the April Agenda.

   To agree the date of the next meeting as Monday April 11th 2022 at 7pm.
