NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Meeting of Wainfleet St Mary Parish Council will take place on
Monday 10th January 2022 at 19.00
in the Community Hall, St Michaels Lane, Wainfleet St Mary, PE24 4HB.
ALL COUNCILLORS ARE HEREBY SUMMONED TO ATTEND
There will be a 10 minute public forum when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council
Members of the public are welcome to stay for the remainder of the meeting with the exception of closed sessions, but they may not speak on any matter after the public session is closed.
This meeting is subject to covid safe guidelines – members of the public are requested to wear a face covering, use the track and trace system app or register with the clerk on arrival, and use the sanitiser provided on entry.
Social distancing is to be a minimum of 2 metres.

To receive and approve apologies for absence.
2.Declarations of Interest
Members must declare any personal interest in any item on the agenda and state whether they are also prejudiced. In the case of personal interest, the member may speak and vote on the matter. In the case of prejudicial interests, the member must withdraw while the matter is discussed.

To discuss and agree actions and associated expenditure for Working Groups
a. Allotments – dykes being monitored – response from Witham 4th Drainage Board
b. Grass Cutting, Trees and Hedges –the obstruction over the public footpath between Low Road and Vicarage Lane.
c. Play Area – Play Inspection Report – Areas Requiring Attention
d. Community Hall – new account with Flo Gas to be set up

k. Community Orchard – Halfpenny Hill/ Low Road – fence and footpath.
9 . Finance and Bank Accounts
To update the Members on financial matters.

10. Community Hall
Charity status and progress - Hand out prepared for all Councillors to read regarding information on charity status and the pros and cons –. Agreed to digest and bring forward for discussion at the January meeting.
11 .Installation of Community Parish bench- Update on anticipated date of installation
12. Community projects
Parish Sign – presentation of ideas and costing
Community Orchard – Additional trees are available from ELDC for planting if required. Report on fencing and path to the bench.
Community hall – Mural in the hall
13. Queens Platinum Jubilee – Extended bank holiday weekend Thurs 2nd June to Sunday 5th June 2022 – The Big Jubilee Lunch- Report to come back from joint meeting on 16th November / meeting cancelled – rearranged
14. Correspondence
To agree the date of the next meeting as Monday February 14th 2022 at 7pm.
