NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Meeting of Wainfleet St Mary Community Hall Committee will take place on Friday September 11th 2026, at 10.00am in the Community Hall, St Michaels Lane, Wainfleet St Mary, PE24 4HB.
ALL COMMITTEE MEMBERS ARE HEREBY SUMMONED TO ATTEND
There will be a 10-minute public forum when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Committee.
Members of the public are welcome to stay for the remainder of the meeting with the exception of closed sessions, but they may not speak on any matter after the public session is closed.

7. Events Planning:
Lunch Club
Village Show – Round up of the review held September 4th 2026 to include:
To consider inviting advice reference electrical feed supply to tea tent;
To invite a quotation from marquee company reference erection/dismantling of marquees and a hire quote;
To consider the purchase of polo shirts for all volunteers;
To agree the adoption of paid assistance to prepare/close down the show
To agree a draft management of the Show for 2027 and budget
Christmas: Breakfast with Santa, Woodthorpe Lunch and Carol Service – confirmation of dates and general arrangements
Picnic in the Park Event – to discuss for 2027
8. Renewal of Geo-caching Wainfleet Network
Annual renewal of the membership in support of the Network run voluntarily by a local resident – the cost is £30.99 which supports 42 geocache locations. The FB page has 87 members and the Blue-Sky page has 52 followers.
9. A proposal to put Wainfleet Mums forward for a Skegness Business Award under the Community Banner –
This was a free event for all residents and visitors arranged by Wainfleet Mums and supported by Platform – Wainfleet Mums are a completely voluntary group of Mums and this is the second time the event has taken place – and the Hall Committee and WSM Council would like to demonstrate their recognition and support of all the time and effort.
10. A Proposal to run a second Football Tournament supported by Platform and Jack’s Football school.
Platform and JCSS have approached WSM Council and Community Hall Committee to run a second tournament following the successful initial trial run during the summer holidays. The date could potentially follow on from Breakfast with Santa to work jointly with both the Council and hall Committee.
11. Additional Storage Proposal
To consider the purchase of a new storage container as soon as possible.

Response received from WASTC reference the question of management of a complaint received.
