Minutes of the Meeting of the Wainfleet St Mary Community Hall Committee which took place on Tuesday July 11th 2023, at 2.30pm following on from the Events meeting at 1.30pm in the Community Hall, St Michael’s Lane, Wainfleet St Mary PE24 4HB.
These are draft minutes until approved at the next Committee meeting to be advised.
1. Members Present:

3.Declarations of Interest
No interests were registered.
4. Minutes of the Meeting held June 6th, 2023
The minutes were read and agreed with the amendment in item 5 – April and May had been transposed. – Proposed by Cllr AP and Seconded by Cllr JW – Unanimous vote to resolve and accept as a true record.
5. Finance report
Lotteries spend to date £2931.72.
Cheque pending signature - £579.50 Copystat
Projected costs - security light - £193.59, Flooring - £1266, Henry - £280.00, Shields/Engraving and certificate costs – tba.
Monies received in June - £ 1383.50.00
6. Working Groups:
Lunch Club – next lunch date is September 13th.
June surplus £203.50
Car Boots – Cover is required for 13th August, ,27th August and 3rd September. Food van is booked. Cover to be provided by Cllr MR and AP – 13th, 27th TBA and 3rd Sept, Cllr SS and MC
June receipts banked - £380.00
7. The Village Show.
The notes from the earlier Events Committee are attached as Appendix A
Marquee flooring purchase proposed by CM JW and seconded Cllr BA – unanimously resolved to approve with purchase being made once the Marquee was successfully erected.
8. Correspondence.
PRS Licence has been issued free of charge.
9. Future Meetings.
The date agreed for the next meeting is to be advised.
The Chair SS thanked everyone for attending and their input and closed the meeting at 2.40pm
