Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting of Wainfleet St Mary which took place on Monday 12th September 2022 at 18.30 in the Community Hall, St Michaels Lane, Wainfleet St Mary, PE24 4HB.

3. Extraordinary Proposal to convene the meeting for urgent items only following the death of Queen Elizabeth the Second and to reconvene at a later date.

5. Co-option of Dr C Shrubsole to the Vacancy for Parish Councillor
Dr Shrubsole was welcomed to the Parish Council by the Chair and documents signed and witnessed – Clerk will process.
6. Minutes of the Council Meeting on 11th July 2022
The Minutes of the Council Meeting were agreed by all Councillors present – Proposed Cllr CB and seconded Cllr AP – resolved to approve.
7. Finance
All reports ( Budget, Reconciliations for the 3 accounts and Clerk’s Finance report ) had been emailed out prior to the meeting and were approved by Council.
Debit cards for use by the Clerk have been issued with a £100 maximum spend on each card unless pre- authorised approval has been given and minuted.
The funding from Visit Lincs for the Summer fete has been withdrawn due to the Visit Lincs Fund closing. The planter, waste bin and bench purchases will be honoured – delivery dates to be advised for the bench and bin – the Planter has been delivered and is in situ in the container.
Request for a donation to WASTC for a contribution to the lights for Christmas. Agreed in principle – the exact amount to be determined when full Council is present to discuss alongside the total anticipated expenditure for replacing the lights for WASTC. Clerk to obtain costs for next meeting if possible.
Cheques for signature – Grass Cutting - £700.00, Haines Watts - £27.00, Clerk’s Wages and postage/stationary costs £446.09, Clerk’s PAYE £97.80, Paper costs Mrs Simpson £14.99
Confirmed agreement to provide £25.00 for Mr P Whiley for all his assistance in the Jubilee celebrations.
8. Items for inclusion on the September 26th Agenda.
All other items on the Agenda dated 12th September that had not been discussed/approved.
9. Date of the next meeting
The date of the next meeting was agreed to follow on from the Summer Fete meeting at 6.30pm with the Summer Fete meeting moving forward to 5.30pm

The meeting closed at 19.25 with Chair MR thanking all for their attendance and input.
