NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Meeting of Wainfleet St Mary Parish Council will take place on Monday October 12th 2026 at 18.00 in the Community Hall, St Michaels Lane, Wainfleet St Mary, PE24 4HB.
ALL COUNCILLORS ARE HEREBY SUMMONED TO ATTEND
There will be a 10-minute public forum at 18.00 when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council – your presence is also requested for this forum.
Members of the public are welcome to stay for the remainder of the meeting except for closed sessions, but they may not speak on any matter after the public session is closed.

Members must declare any personal interest in any item on the agenda and state whether they are also prejudiced.
In the case of personal interest, the member may speak and vote on the matter. In the case of prejudicial interests, the member must withdraw while the matter is discussed.

Allotments; Report of dykes and banks and general overview
Grass Cutting, Trees and Hedges: - ongoing concerns over the large trees along Vicarage Lane to the outside of The Rectory – reported to LCC Councillor – support to local resident to manage requested.
Play Area – cost of new sign and advisory notice – to consider if new play surface is to be considered for inclusion in the 2027 planning and budget
Community Hall – locks to doors to be considered/agreed
Planning – one application that has rec’d approval
Open Spaces
10. Review of Grass Cutting for next season - To invite quotations for discussion in the November meeting.
11. Bus Shelter Improvements and Funding – quotations to be received and discussed if available.
11. The Pinfold Riverbank and Repairs – A52 Repairs and speed cameras
Response from Highways to further correspondence – to consider invitation to LCC/local MP to attend and provide support.
12. To review and agree updated terms of reference for the Staffing Committee and to agree an appraisal date for the Clerk.
To amend the current terms of reference and invite members to the Committee in line with new guidance from LALC – and to agree an appraisal date for the current year review. New guidelines have been sent with the Agenda for all to consider.
