NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Meeting of Wainfleet St Mary Parish Council will take place on Monday September 14th 2026 timed for 18.00 in the Community Hall, St Michaels Lane, Wainfleet St Mary, PE24 4HB.

ALL COUNCILLORS ARE HEREBY SUMMONED TO ATTEND

There will be a 10-minute public forum at 18.00 when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council – your presence is also requested for this forum.

Members of the public are welcome to stay for the remainder of the meeting except for closed sessions, but they may not speak on any matter after the public session is closed.

3. Declarations of Interest and Dispensation Requests

Members must declare any personal interest in any item on the agenda and state whether they are also prejudiced.

In the case of personal interest, the member may speak and vote on the matter. In the case of prejudicial interests, the member must withdraw while the matter is discussed.

6. Community Hall Committee Report.

 Report from the Hall Committee to update members on actions and events planned for 2026/2027

7. Bus Shelter Improvements and Funding – quotations to be received and discussed if available.

8. The Pinfold Riverbank and Repairs – A52 Repairs and speed cameras

A report has been requested from LCC to advise of the current status of these repairs and improvements

9. Community PayBack Scheme

Report on works carried out and benefits and renewal of agreement for 2027

10. Youth Project

An update and any further information on the Youth Project brought forward by 2 community members

12. Working Group Reports

To discuss and agree actions and associated expenditure                     ``

1. Allotments; Report of dykes and banks and general overview – proposal to allow 12 month review of the drainage works carried out to date to assess impact.
2. Grass Cutting, Trees and Hedges: - ongoing concerns over the large trees along Vicarage Lane to the outside of The Rectory
3. Play Area – report on repairs and general maintenance – repair of the Notice Board – proposal to consider replacing the surface of the Play Area - Update on costs of a new Notice Board for the Play Area with branding as existing signs for the orchard and field.
4. Community Hall – proposal to place a corner shelf within the hall to accommodate winner shields.
5. Planning – 1 application for The Paddocks
6. Open Spaces – Report on vandalism - Replacement tree for The Jubilee Orchard. Repair of “Elton”
