NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Meeting of Wainfleet St Mary Parish Council will take place on

Monday October 14th 2024 at 18.10 in the Community Hall, St Michaels Lane, Wainfleet St Mary, PE24 4HB.

ALL COUNCILLORS ARE HEREBY SUMMONED TO ATTEND

There will be a 10-minute public forum at 18.00 when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council – your presence is also requested for this forum.

Members of the public are welcome to stay for the remainder of the meeting except for closed sessions, but they may not speak on any matter after the public session is closed

  3. Declarations of Interest and Dispensation Requests

             Members must declare any personal interest in any item on the agenda and state whether they are also prejudiced.

            In the case of personal interest, the member may speak and vote on the matter. In the case of prejudicial interests, the member must withdraw while the matter is discussed.

       4.  Draft Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting Monday September 9th 2024 - o confirm the draft minutes of the General Meeting held Monday September 9th 2024.       

       5. Vacancy for a Parish Councillor - To receive application to join WSM Parish Council and process co-option and welcome

       6.   Apple Tree – St Michael’s Lane and Queen’s estate.- Response from LCC.       

       7. Community Hall Committee Report -  Report from the Hall Committee to update members on actions and events

      8.  Flag Day dates – Confirmation of costs for flag purchase.

      9. Autumn/Winter Newsletter – distribution.

     10. Clerk’s Report - To update the members on items from the previous meeting with the Clerk’s Report.

      Open Spaces – Traffic Regulation Order (Groose Lane) – update from LCC Councillor WB

                                 Mole Patrol – to discuss control of moles

                               Replacement Dog waste and litter Bins – Low Road/Boston Road Bus Shelter

                                Fly Tipping reports – replacement road sign – Low Road

Miller Court resident request to trim trees overhanging pathway from bus stop to Miller    Court entrance. These have all been reported and info passed forward to LCC WB in an attempt to get repairs/replacements under way.

14.   Funding group - Report on project funding and plans for community engagement to further projects for and within the Community – grant approval for planters around Orchard and Play Area -     Forward Plans for planting.
