Support available locally
The Government has made substantial additional financial support to low income families to further help them in these difficult times.
Lincolnshire County Council has also received £835,000 from the government for additional support for vulnerable people which has been allocated as follows
Addl funding of almost £400,000 to the Lincolnshire Food partnership to ensure new and emerging local food banks will have grants and supports in place to help them thrive. To find detais of your local food bank go to www.lincolnfoodpartnership.org/
A further £215,000 has gone to the Community Links Programme run by the YMCA which support good neighbour schemes and food kitchens in Lincolnshire. You can find schemes for your area at www.maphub.net/LincsGNS/lincs-gns
During the Covid 19 pandemic the Lincolnshire resilience Fund has received £217,000 to bulk purchase food stocks to support the most vulnerable residents.

The Covid Vaccine for the Wainfleet area will be available at the Storehouse, Skegness, residents will be contacted with a date to attend, anyone unable to attend due to being housebound will be able to still have a vaccination, with the new vaccines that are being made available, but will take a little longer. Every adult will be offered the vaccine during 2021 and hopefully as many as possible will take the offer up.
