1.    Minutes from the Remote Council Meeting on

To approve as a correct record the notes of the e-mail monthly meeting of the Council held on 27 April   

Minutes were emailed to all May 26.

2.    Finance

To receive financial reports and updates. To approve payments and receipts. To meet in the Community hall for cheque signing Wednesday 10th June

Grant Application approved 4th of May - deposited into bank account.

Annual Financial Statement approved by Internal Auditor – Completed Financial AGAR form attached for perusual – to be signed off at next Council meeting or earlier. 31st July is the deadline for return.

3.    Bank Account.

No further information at present.

4.    Planning

To receive and discuss applications and any planning applications received between publication of agenda and the actual meeting will be added for discussion

Planning Application S/195/00696/20 – emailed out 1st May – no objections rec’d.

5.    Council Matters

To discuss and agree actions and associated expenditure for Council Matters.

a)    Insurance Renewal due 1st June 2020

Recommended provider accepted with 3 year term to reduce premium and enable future budgeting – renewal cheque to be signed Wednesday 10th June

b)    Grass Cutting Contract. 

Renewed with T Blackamore – contract signed and returned with schedule for monitoring of dates cut.

c)    Damage to Field by Western Power – 

Report made to Western Power using their web complaint contact – reference number 3668408 – remedial work carried out w/e 30th May – to be checked please and agreed before complaint is closed off.

d)    Allotments – Query rec’d on acreage calculation – to be followed up with discussion when full Council can next meet.

6.    Correspondence – Grant funding available for tree planting – should this be displayed in NB/web and invite anyone to submit their interest – info contained in newsletter sent last week.

7.    Community Hall – Rateable Value

Hall has been measured and submitted to Valuation office with photographs and completed information regarding structure and fittings – acknowledgement rec’d.
