The Ordinary Meeting of the Parish Council is scheduled for 7pm on Monday 10th August in the Community Hall, St Michael’s lane, Wainfleet Saint Mary.

2.    Minutes from the Remote Council Meeting on 8th July

To approve as a correct record the notes of the e-mail/remote monthly meeting of the Council held on 8 July

To approve/ratify/sign all draft minutes from remote meetings as follows..

     Meeting – 10th June 2020, 27th April 2020, 9th March 2020

All minutes have previously been circulated. There was no May meeting as this should have been the AGM and the decision to suspend it till 2021 taken.

3. Finance

To receive financial reports and updates. To approve payments and receipts.

4.    Bank Account

No further information at present – Lloyds have telephoned Clerk to confirm they will call when in a position to open account. Currently the dept for new accounts for communities is closed.

5.  Planning

To receive and discuss applications and any planning applications received between publication of agenda and the actual meeting will be added for discussion

None currently rec’d.

Application rec’d and forwarded Monday 10th – Housing 21. Miller Court- replace uPVC door with automatic sliding door.

6      Council Matters

To discuss and agree actions and associated expenditure for Council Matters

a)    Ratification of all items discussed/agreed/approved over the 4 months of remote meetings – Please see Appendix A for full details

b)    Village Hall – To remain closed until further notice

c)    Quote re repair of corroded corbel bricks to rear of Community Hall

d)    Cracked Willow tree overhanging Wainfleet Bank – contact from resident

e)    S137 Grant Application – WSM Parish Church

f)     Purchase of Wreath for VJ Day/Remembrance Sunday

g)    Allotments and Acreage

h)    Grass Cutting – schedule for cuts attached as Appendix B

i)      Maintenance/Repair of Play Area and Equipment

7.   Correspondence 

 Grant funding available for tree planting – interest recorded with ELDC for land opposite Play Area and some private land. Sarah Baker has asked if areas can be confirmed and site visit arranged to assess number of trees required – RP has an area of land plus a suggestion of the area opposite the play area - dates are 13th or 20th August.

8 .    Community Hall – Rateable Value

No further information as yet – The valuation office have been twice emailed but only automatic out of office replies rec’d.

(Valuation now rec’d - £1,150 RV. This is below the cap of £15,000- WSM parish will receive SBRR so no rates will be payable. ELDC will create account and send out with application for relief.)
