Salem Bridge Refurbishment

The above highway structures are due to start on 17th July 2023.

As part of these works there will be a 3-way temporary traffic lights in place at the junction of Station Road, Vicarage Lane,and Boston Road as and when required for safety reasons including weekends.

Highways are aware of two local events in the field adjacent to the bridge during the period that the works programme is planned. Through co-operation and co-ordination it is hoped no detrimental effect upon the works or the events.

There will inevitably be some disruption during these works but Highways will do their best to keep these to a minimum which will include:

Maintaining access for residents and Emergency Services throughout the project as far as reasonably possible.

Keeping pedestrian footways open to the public when safe and practicable.

Endeavouring to carry out the scheme as quickly and efficiently as possible.
