Information on the changes to Louth Town Centre and an opportunity to have your say.

Louth Town Council is very aware that many of Saint Mary's residents have been affected by changes made to the town centre in Louth. These measures (mainly the removal of parking along Mercer Row and in the Cornmarket area) were implemented by Lincolnshire County Council as part of the Active Travel Scheme.

Louth Town Council wants to work with the community to find solutions for consideration by Lincolnshire County Council and East Lindsey District Council. It is aware that there are many different opinions about the scheme, and as such, it seems necessary to obtain as many views as possible.

To facilitate this, Louth Town Council will hold a public meeting on Tuesday 13th September from 6.30pm at the Royal British Legion Hall, Northgate, Louth.

The Town Council has also created two short surveys; one for town centre businesses and the second for Louth residents and visitors to Louth.

If you would like to make your views known, please complete the relevant survey online, which can be accessed from:

https://www.louthtowncouncil.gov.uk/active-travel-scheme.../

A hard copy version of the survey can also be downloaded from the website or you can call the Town Council offices on 01507 355895 for a copy to be sent to you. The survey runs until the end of September 2022.
