There is currently no public session due to Covid-19 – no messages or contact have been received from the public by phone or message.

1.    Minutes from the Remote Council Meeting 

To approve as a correct record the notes of the e-mail monthly meeting of the Council held on 10 June   

Approved - to be signed and ratified at next full Council Meeting once the restrictions are relaxed to permit a face to face meeting.

Minutes from the remote meeting June 10 June as attached – Approved as a correct record.

2.    Finance

To receive financial reports and updates. To approve payments and receipts. Cheques signed and posted 8th July.

Annual Financial Statement approved by Internal Auditor – Completed Financial AGAR sent PKF Littlejohn- acknowledgement rec’d. Posted on web site for The Public Exercise of Rights – confirmation rec’d. Checking has begun- details of clerk and contact updated.

Purchase made of hand sanitiser, masks and signage in preparation for relaxing of measures whilst maintaining social distancing.

Payments made of over £100 for July meeting for Transparency.

4.    Planning

To receive and discuss applications and any planning applications received between publication of agenda and the actual meeting will be added for discussion

Planning Application S/195/00696/20 – Wadsley Cottage – Planning has been approved

Planning Application S/195/00965/20 – Serenity – convert garage to dwelling – in progress

5.    Council Matters

To discuss and agree actions and associated expenditure for Council Matters.

a)    Damage to Field by Western Power – Report made to Western Power using their web complaint contact – reference number 3668408 – remedial work carried out w/e 30th May all checked and approved. Complaint is now closed

b)    Play Area  - re-opened 4th July. Inspection required (done by RP), cleaning and risk assessment completed. Signage posted in Play Area 4th July 9.00am

c)    Village Hall – agree to remain closed – No enquiries from the public have been received

d)    Dumping of Builder’s Waste – reported to Fix My Street – Washdyke lane, WSM

6.    Correspondence  Grant funding available for tree planting – interest recorded with ELDC for land opposite Play Area and some private land

7.    Community Hall – Rateable Value

No further information as yet – Valuation Office have been contacted for current situation.

8.    Grass Cutting has been completed as under –

Queens’ Estate – 26/5/20 and 17/6/20

River Bank to the Grange – 19/05/20, 09/06/20, 17/06/20, 30/06/20
