1. Minutes from the Council Meeting on 9th March 2020

To approve as a correct record the notes of the monthly meeting of the Council held on 9 March

RESOLVED that the minutes were correct.

2,. Finance

To receive financial reports and updates. To approve payments and receipts.

RESOLVED to approve payments for April 2020

RESOLVED to agree Annual Financial Statement – signed copy to confirm approval

Papers to be handed to Internal Auditor w/comm May 11th 2020 – date agreed as Weds 13th May

Grant Application for Resilience Fund for WSM submitted and approved - £500 – grant to be paid into WSM account week comm 5th May – funds received Tues 12th May

Payments made of over £100 for April meeting for transparency.

3. Bank Account.

Lloyds have confirmed no new accounts can be opened at present until restrictions are lifted – have

Indicated they will ring Clerk to process as soon as they are permitted to.

Confirming phone call from Lloyds 30th April they hope to ring in the near future.

4.Planning

One application rec’d and distributed to all Councillors – reference No S/195/00696/20 – Extension and Alterations to Wadsley Cottage, St Michael’s Lane, Wainfleet St Mary

Application S/195/00396/20 – Approved. Change of Use to 2 barns – Groose Lane. Wainfleet St Mary

No Objections.

5.Council Matters

Councillor Vacancies – Both interested parties have been advised of no public meetings currently but will be invited to the next full meeting as circumstances permit.

Emergency Planning – meeting has been cancelled due to coronavirus.

Insurance renewal due 1 June. Clerk has been in contact with Came and Co regarding re-valuation of play equipment and confirmation hall is the process of being purchased. Renewal will include these changes.

Renewal invitations have been rec’d and e-mailed out to Councillors 7 May for perusal

River Steeping Plan has been signed off – copies available on request.

Grass Cutting Contract – Will be awarded as 2019/2020 with a close monitor on quantity and quality of cut. Invitation to quote sent 11 May.

6.Events for 2020

Consensus the Summer fete should be cancelled  - Clerk to disseminate info to all. Web site and Notice Board updated. Interested parties emailed 11 May.

7. Correspondence – 2 x S137 applications – applicant advised receipt of application is confirmed and will be agended for the next full Council Meetin

8. Community Hall- rateable Value – Clerk has been in contact with Valuation office – confirmed the hall is not currently on their data base…information required is -

Intended use of property (shop, office, workshop, etc.) –
